President Ilham Aliyev has outlined the key areas of interest for investors in Azerbaijan during an event held as part of the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum.

Operativ Media reports that the head of state said:

"Infrastructure serving transnational interests. First of all, transport, logistics, physical infrastructure, and software infrastructure. We can build many bridges, ports, and ships. But if we do not keep pace with modern trends in digitalization and customs administration, and if we do not make cargo processing procedures even easier, we will lose. Another issue is power transmission lines, and there is huge potential here."
