Yuriy Husyev, Ukraine's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, has expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijan.

Operativ Media reports that Husyev made these remarks to journalists today at the Baku airport, where a group of children from Ukraine's Kharkiv and Kherson regions arrived.

"We highly appreciate the support shown to Ukrainian children and thank Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the government, and the entire Azerbaijani people. We will never forget this," Husyev said.

The ambassador noted that the rehabilitation program implemented by Azerbaijan for Ukrainian children unites the children of both countries, as well as their families and nations.

"This is a very important program that connects children from Ukraine and Azerbaijan, bringing our families and peoples together. Thank you very much, Azerbaijan," the ambassador added.
