Operativ Media reports that he defended his belt in the UAE Warriors promotion against Australia's Reece McLaren. In the bout held in Abu Dhabi, Asef defeated his opponent by TKO in the second minute of the first round.

It should be noted that Asef Chopurov remains undefeated. Following the fight, he called out Dagestan-born fighter Muhammad Mokaev, who represents Great Britain, expressing his desire to face him in the cage.
