"We want to be a very reliable electricity supplier."

President Ilham Aliyev said this at an event held as part of the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, Operativ Media reports.

Noting that Azerbaijan exports oil, natural gas, petroleum products, petrochemicals, and fertilizers, the head of state said: "We are one of the few countries in the region that exports all of these. We want to become a major exporter of electricity as well, especially to the European market."
