The EU Council has approved a further payment of approximately €3 billion to Ukraine under the €50 billion Ukraine Facility.

Operativ Media reports, citing a statement from the EU Council.

According to the statement, this is the eighth regular payment under the facility.

Approximately €800 million of the allocated funds will be financed through loans designed to support Ukraine. The funds are planned to be used to maintain macroeconomic stability, support reforms, and meet public administration needs.
