President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco on the occasion of his country's national holiday.

Operativ Media reports that the letter reads:

"Dear Brother,

On the occasion of the national holiday of the Kingdom of Morocco, I am pleased to convey my most sincere congratulations and best wishes to you and, through you, to your brotherly people, both on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan.

We attach special importance to Azerbaijan-Morocco relations, which are based on historical roots and fine traditions.

I am confident that we will continue our joint efforts to further strengthen the friendly ties that unite our countries and peoples, and to successfully advance our mutually beneficial cooperation.

On this auspicious day, I wish you robust health, happiness, success in your high state duties, and lasting peace and prosperity to the brotherly people of Morocco."
