The Iranian administration has refused to accept a US ceasefire proposal delivered by Iraqi Prime Minister Ali az-Zeydi.

According to the publication, official Tehran stated that it is not interested in a temporary agreement that leaves the issue of control over the Strait of Hormuz unresolved. Details of the alleged US proposal were not disclosed.
It was noted that the Prime Minister of Iraq, who concluded his official visit to the United States late last week, held talks there with President Donald Trump. On Friday, Ali az-Zeydi visited Tehran at the invitation of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
