Operativ Media presents the Joint Statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan:

"One year ago, President Trump hosted a historic Summit at the White House with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, where President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a Joint Declaration for peace. Witnessed by the three leaders, the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan initialed the draft 'Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and Inter-State Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.' On this first anniversary, we take deep pride in the achievements our countries have accomplished together and are determined to build upon this foundation, which has ended decades of conflict and is guiding the South Caucasus toward a more prosperous future. In recognition of these historic and significant efforts to secure peace, President Aliyev and Prime Minister Pashinyan have jointly nominated President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.

With US support, the Joint Declaration established a concrete roadmap for strengthening peace, ensuring prosperity, and deepening partnership for Armenia and Azerbaijan. In the year since their courageous leaders came together, these countries have laid the groundwork to ensure lasting success.

Armenia and Azerbaijan have maintained stability along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, and both sides are taking concrete steps toward strengthening trust through measures necessary for normalizing relations, delimiting borders, and ensuring lasting stability.

The Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP), which will serve as a multimodal transit route, is turning from concept into reality thanks to concrete progress, including a US-Armenia agreement to establish the TRIPP Development Company to lead infrastructure development. Engineering and survey work is already underway in Armenia. Azerbaijan has nearly completed the construction of the highway and railway on its territory that will connect to TRIPP in Armenia. The three countries also support the construction of an electricity transmission line along the TRIPP route.

The US has allocated $201 million to the Trans-Caspian Enterprise Fund to support attracting private sector investments to the Trans-Caspian Trade Route (Middle Corridor) in the South Caucasus and Central Asia.

The US has further deepened its ties by signing charters defining new bilateral strategic partnerships with both Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as memorandums of understanding on energy security, border infrastructure and security, innovation in artificial intelligence and semiconductors, and critical mineral resources. These investments, aimed at the long-term prosperity of all three countries, have already yielded concrete results.

In keeping with the spirit of the Peace Summit held at the White House, Azerbaijan unilaterally removed all transit restrictions regarding Armenia. Over the course of the year, approximately 60,000 tons of cargo were transported to and from Armenia through Azerbaijani territory. Azerbaijan has also supplied Armenia with 20,000 tons of petroleum products. The two countries are continuing efforts to increase bilateral trade volume.

Telecommunications operators from the two countries signed an internet agreement to diversify regional connectivity routes, enhance reliability and resilience in the South Caucasus, and support infrastructure development in Eurasian telecommunications networks.

Confirming the end of the unresolved conflict era, the OSCE Minsk Group and related structures were dissolved following a joint request by Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Upon the invitation of the US, Armenia and Azerbaijan joined the Peace Council, demonstrating that they stand shoulder to shoulder with the United States in efforts toward creating a more peaceful and prosperous world.

The United States, Armenia, and Azerbaijan reaffirm their unwavering support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and jurisdiction of Armenia and Azerbaijan within their internationally recognized borders. All three states remain committed to the full implementation of the August 8 Joint Declaration in accordance with its text and spirit, as well as to unlocking the region's extraordinary economic potential. Furthermore, the United States is committed to the full implementation of the bilateral charters and memorandums of understanding signed with Armenia and Azerbaijan and to strengthening its bilateral relations with both countries.

Real peace is not achieved in a day; nevertheless, as President Trump expressed, promises made are promises kept. The steps taken by Azerbaijan and Armenia toward lasting peace serve as an example to the world, and in this regard, we look forward to a bright and prosperous future for the region."
