The 33-year-old footballer collapsed onto the pitch during the training session. After receiving medical attention, the Frenchman had his left thigh bandaged and left training early, limping heavily while accompanied by two club staff members.
The midfielder had also missed a friendly match against Getafe on August 6, which Monaco won 1-0, due to a knee issue.
The experienced player, who joined Monaco in July 2025, made six appearances in the 2025/2026 season without registering any goals or assists. His contract with the club runs until June 30, 2027. According to Transfermarkt, his transfer value is estimated at 2.50 million euros.
