Azerbaijani and Central Asian Leaders to Hold Informal Summit in Cholpon-Ata
An informal consultative meeting of the heads of state of Azerbaijan and Central Asian nations will take place in Kyrgyzstan from July 30 to August 1.
Operativ Media reports, citing the Kabar news agency.
The summit will be attended by President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The leaders will discuss strengthening cooperation in trade, energy, and tourism, expanding regional transport corridors, and furthering cultural and humanitarian ties.
They will also exchange views on pressing issues related to regional security and joint efforts within international organizations.
