Investors managing more than $33 trillion in assets have arrived in Azerbaijan.

Shahmar Movsumov, Assistant to the President and Head of the Department of Economic Issues and Innovative Development Policy of the Presidential Administration, told reporters, Operativ Media reports.

He said that investors from various countries around the world are considering potential options for investing in Azerbaijan.

“We hope that as a result of such a forum, real projects will emerge and investments will be made,” Shahmar Movsumov said.

According to him, documents on potential investments worth more than $10 billion have already been signed within the framework of the forum.

Shahmar Movsumov noted that prerequisites have been created for the implementation of larger projects, particularly in the field of digitalization and transformation.

The presidential assistant emphasized that one of Azerbaijan's advantages is the presence of abundant and cheap energy resources, as well as a great potential for green energy in the future.
