Russian gas exports to Türkiye surge in November
Gazprom has sharply increased gas supplies to Türkiye.
Operativ Media reports, citing TASS, that Russia's Gazprom announced an increase in pipeline gas supplies to Türkiye in the autumn of 2026.
According to the company's operational data, the volume of gas delivered to Türkiye in the first five days of November was approximately four times higher compared to the same period in October and September.
In October, Gazprom's total gas supplies to Türkiye increased by 78 percent compared to September.
Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar previously attributed the reduction in natural gas purchases from Russia to high prices, while stating that trade between Ankara and Moscow would not be discontinued.
According to TASS, Russia reduced its pipeline gas exports to Türkiye in January–August 2026 by 17 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, down to 12.1 billion cubic meters. In 2025, a total of 21.16 billion cubic meters of Russian gas was transported to Türkiye.
