Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament (Milli Majlis) Sahiba Gafarova has arrived in the Republic of South Africa on an official visit.

Operativ Media reports that the Milli Majlis released information regarding the visit.

At Johannesburg International Airport, the delegation led by the parliamentary speaker was welcomed by Azerbaijan's Chargé d'Affaires in South Africa, Huseyn Rahimli, along with other officials.

During the visit, Speaker Sahiba Gafarova is scheduled to attend the Conference of Speakers of National and Regional Parliaments hosted by the Pan-African Parliament, as well as conduct a series of bilateral meetings.
