President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of a golf club at the Issyk-Kul Golf Resort complex in Cholpon-Ata on July 30, alongside President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

Operativ Media reports that the event began with the screening of a promotional video showcasing the Issyk-Kul Golf Resort complex and its Golf Club.

Situated on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul, the Golf Club spans 103 hectares of the 120-hectare multifunctional Issyk-Kul Golf Resort complex.

The project is designed to attract tourists to Issyk-Kul beyond the summer season, featuring a course playable for 10 months of the year. The fully equipped Golf Club complex also includes an 80-bed hotel for guests, with plans to establish a golf academy and host tournaments at various competitive levels.

Combining tourism, sports, wellness, and entertainment, the Issyk-Kul Golf Resort will feature several four- and five-star hotels, restaurants, and beach areas alongside the Golf Club.

Khomeni Ergeshov, President of the Golf Federation of Kyrgyzstan, delivered a welcoming speech to the heads of state.

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov then addressed the attendees.

Following the speeches, the leaders toured the grounds of the Issyk-Kul Golf Resort and participated in a ceremonial tee-off to mark the opening.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony during his state visit to Kyrgyzstan.

Operativ Media reports that the event was also attended by Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, and Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov.

The four leaders gathered to pose for a commemorative photo during the ceremony.
