The development of the beverage industry and the expansion of production capabilities have been discussed with Carlsberg Group.

According to the Ministry of Economy's report to Operativ Media, Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with Niklos Kalaitzidakis, Carlsberg Group's Executive Vice President for Central and Eastern Europe and India, on the sidelines of the second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum.

During the meeting, the sides reviewed the development of cooperation with Carlsberg Group and the work being carried out under the Memorandum of Understanding for 2025–2029.

They exchanged views on improving regulatory mechanisms in the beer industry, localizing raw materials and packaging, as well as creating new business opportunities in the region.

The parties also discussed the development of the beverage industry in Azerbaijan, the expansion of production capabilities, and the identification of new areas for investment cooperation.
