Leaders of Azerbaijan and Central Asian States Hold Informal Summit in Kyrgyzstan
An informal summit of the heads of state of Azerbaijan and Central Asian nations has been held in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan.
Operativ Media reports that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived at the Congress Center in Cholpon-Ata to attend the informal meeting of leaders from Azerbaijan and Central Asian states.
Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov welcomed the Azerbaijani head of state and other participating presidents.
The heads of state of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan posed for a joint official photograph.
President Ilham Aliyev addressed the meeting.
The other presidents subsequently delivered speeches.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Cholpon-Ata Declaration was signed.
