First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva Visits Altyn-Balalyk Rehabilitation Center in Kyrgyzstan
First Lady of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva, alongside First Lady of the Kyrgyz Republic Aygul Japarova and First Lady of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ziroatkhon Mirziyoyeva, visited the Altyn-Balalyk Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cholpon-Ata on July 31.
Operativ Media reports that the Altyn-Balalyk Health and Rehabilitation Center has been operating since May 2022. The facility's primary purpose is to provide children with high-quality medical rehabilitation services and recreation.
The center features 136 rooms with 800 beds. Each year during the summer holidays, between 8,000 and 8,500 children from across Kyrgyzstan and neighboring countries stay at the summer camp operating here. From September through June, the center receives children with disabilities for rehabilitation.

The First Ladies of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan visited the Altyn-Balalyk rehabilitation center in Issyk-Kul.
Operativ Media reports that during the visit, Ziroatkhon Mirziyoyeva, Aygul Japarova, and Mehriban Aliyeva learned about the center's activities and masterclasses organized for children, and engaged in conversation with the youngsters.
In honor of the high-level guests, the Shattik national dance ensemble and a youth komuz ensemble performed. Additionally, students from the Akylman Presidential School for Talented Children presented an exhibition of clay and felt crafts.
The guests then toured the waterfront area and visited an art gallery showcasing works by winners of international children's art competitions held in Kyrgyzstan, including young artists from Uzbekistan.
The program also included a ceremony marking the placement of the final decorative element on a felt panel titled "Tree of Friendship," symbolizing the bond among the peoples of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan.
