Azerbaijan Plans to Supply Petroleum Products to Kyrgyzstan

Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan are working to expand cooperation in the petroleum products and energy sectors.
Kyrgyz Energy Minister Altynbek Rysbekov made the announcement, according to Operativ Media.
According to him, a memorandum signed between the relevant ministries of both countries will help address challenges stemming from shifts in the global oil market.
The minister noted that the two sides have reached an agreement on the matter and are currently working out concrete delivery mechanisms.
He also stated that Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan have prepared an energy roadmap and are holding talks on the construction of small hydroelectric power plants, with specific agreements expected in the near future.
