Operativ Media reports that Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stated this in a post on social media platform X.

Lin Jian noted that China opposes unilateral sanctions not authorized by the UN Security Council.

According to him, the use of military force and policies of pressure could further escalate the situation.

“We urge all parties to act responsibly and resolve differences through dialogue and negotiations,” the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said.
