French side PSG​ is looking to add Barcelona's 23-year-old midfielder Pedri to its squad and is preparing to submit its first official transfer offer for the player.

Operativ Media reports, citing publication El Nacional, that the Parisian club is willing to pay €90 million for the Spanish midfielder.

​According to reports, PSG's interest in Pedri intensified after Manchester City player Rodri, whom head coach Luis Enrique wanted at the club, chose to continue his career at Real Madrid instead.

​Pedri has been playing for Barcelona since 2020. During this period, he has scored 28 goals and provided 33 assists in 245 appearances across all competitions.

​The midfielder's current contract with the Catalan club runs until the summer of 2030.

The Transfermarkt portal estimates the player's market value at €150 million.
