Ignazio Cassis, member of the Swiss Federal Council, Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, visited Martyrs' Lane in Baku on August 4 during his official visit to Azerbaijan.

As he took in the panoramic view of the Azerbaijani capital, the head of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs was briefed on the history of Martyrs' Lane, its profound significance in the memory of the Azerbaijani people, and the urban development projects underway across the city.
