Ignazio Cassis, a member of the Swiss Federal Council, will visit Azerbaijan tomorrow in his capacity as the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office.

The announcement was made by the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Operativ Media reports.

According to the ministry, discussions will focus on bilateral relations, peace efforts in the South Caucasus, and Switzerland's role in Central Asia ahead of its 2026 OSCE chairmanship. The visit marks the first leg of a regional tour.

Under the travel program, the tour will continue this autumn with visits to Armenia and Georgia.
