Azerbaijan plans to build school in Palestine, project delayed by war
Azerbaijan plans to construct a large school in Palestine, but the ongoing war in the region has delayed the project's implementation.
Operativ Media reports that Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, stated this in an interview with CNN Türk.
He explained that although Palestinian authorities had previously allocated a plot of land for the school, the current security situation makes construction at that location impossible.
As a result, Azerbaijan has asked the Palestinian leadership to identify an alternative site for the school's construction.
