Spanish club Barcelona is interested in signing Villarreal forward Georges Mikautadze.

​Operativ Media reports that the Catalan side considers the 25-year-old Georgian footballer an alternative option to Atletico forward Julian Alvarez. Villarreal management is reportedly preparing to demand at least 60 million euros for the player's transfer.

​The forward's contract with the club runs until the summer of 2031.

The Transfermarkt portal estimates his market value at 30 million euros. Mikautadze reportedly scored 16 goals and provided 6 assists in 44 appearances during the 2025/26 season.
