Operativ Media reports that the Prosecutor General's Office released details on the agreements.

During the third high-level meeting of heads of anti-corruption law enforcement agencies of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states held in Baku on Oct. 27–28, Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev held separate bilateral meetings with Mohamed Benalilou, President of the National Authority for Integrity, Prevention and Fight Against Corruption of the Kingdom of Morocco, and Dr. Mohammed Ali al-Lami, Commissioner of the Federal Integrity Commission of the Republic of Iraq.

During the discussions, the Prosecutor General briefed the delegations on legal and institutional reforms carried out in Azerbaijan under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev to combat corruption.

He highlighted systemic measures implemented under the National Action Plan for 2022–2026 approved by the President, emphasizing key priorities such as increasing transparency and accountability in public administration, preventing corruption risks, enhancing public service delivery, and expanding digital government services.

The meeting with the president of Morocco's anti-corruption body focused on developing Azerbaijan-Morocco relations and expanding bilateral cooperation.

Recalling his working visit to Morocco in April 2026 and meetings with government officials, the Prosecutor General emphasized the contribution of those engagements to strengthening bilateral ties.

Expressing appreciation for the warm reception, Mohamed Benalilou noted the importance of expanding the exchange of experience and information in the fight against corruption, as well as reinforcing institutional ties between the respective agencies.

The parties discussed prospects for developing cooperation between the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office and the Moroccan anti-corruption agency, studying best practices, and broadening mutual engagement across international and regional platforms.

Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation was signed between the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan and the National Authority for Integrity, Prevention and Fight Against Corruption of the Kingdom of Morocco.

During the meeting with the Commissioner of Iraq's Federal Integrity Commission, both sides praised the positive development of Azerbaijan-Iraq relations across political, economic, and cultural domains, emphasizing the importance of Iraq's support for Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity in international forums.

The Prosecutor General recalled his previous meeting with Mohammed Ali al-Lami on the sidelines of the second high-level meeting of OIC law enforcement heads in Qatar in November 2024, as well as meetings with leaders of Iraq's judicial and prosecutorial bodies in 2024–2025, noting the value of these contacts in advancing legal cooperation.

Mohammed Ali al-Lami highlighted the necessity of expanding cooperation and exchanging mutual expertise in fighting corruption.

The meeting covered prospects for strengthening institutional ties, broadening the exchange of best practices and information, and reinforcing joint initiatives.

At the conclusion of the talks, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation was signed between the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Federal Integrity Commission of the Republic of Iraq.
