Liverpool Want to Extend Trey Nyoni's Contract
English club Liverpool are in negotiations to extend the contract of midfielder Trey Nyoni.
Operativ Media reports, citing The Athletic. The sides have been discussing terms of a new deal with the 19-year-old English footballer for several months, with the club reportedly hoping to reach an agreement soon.
Signed from Leicester City at the age of 16 for just under €1.2 million, Nyoni plays an important role in head coach Andoni Iraola's plans.
In the summer of 2026, Liverpool rejected a €36 million offer for the player from Nottingham Forest, demonstrating the club's firm intention to keep the midfielder.
Nyoni has scored 1 goal in 11 appearances across all competitions in the 2026/2027 season.
The player's current contract is valid until June 30, 2030. The Transfermarkt portal estimates his market value at €18 million.
