Sabah defender Aiden McCarthy: Viking must also reckon with us

Operativ Media reports that the defender stated they have prepared rigorously for the upcoming match. He emphasized the importance of staying focused both in defense and in attack:

"It is not just the defensive line; the entire team must play together as a single unit. Every situation requires a different solution. I trust my teammates and myself. I think we will handle every situation as best as we can. Viking also needs to reckon with us."

Speaking about his recent performances and goalscoring opportunities, McCarthy noted the importance of the confidence gained:

"This boosts self-confidence. Such opportunities do not come often to everyone. For me, the main thing is to carry this into the next game and send the ball into the net if another chance arises. We also need to play reliably in defense."

As a reminder, the match between Sabah and Viking will take place tomorrow.
