ICESCO Director General congratulates Ilham Aliyev
From Salim bin Mohammed AlMalik, Director-General of ICESCO
To His Excellency Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan
Your Excellency,
It is an honor for me to convey my most sincere congratulations to Your Excellency and the people of Azerbaijan on November 8 – Victory Day, along with my wishes for lasting peace, prosperity, and well-being.
Along with reflecting the perseverance, unity, and determination of the Azerbaijani people, this important holiday embodies the value of peace, as well as people’s aspirations for stability, security, and a prosperous future. May the spirit of this day continue to inspire new achievements for Azerbaijan and its people.
I took great pleasure in participating in the 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, a prestigious international platform that promotes mutual understanding and builds bridges between cultures and civilizations. It was a particular honor to be received by Your Excellency in Baku. This meeting provided us with the opportunity to engage in a valuable exchange of views on our shared priorities and the further strengthening of cooperation between ICESCO and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The sincere and constructive relations between ICESCO and the Republic of Azerbaijan are highly valued. This is reflected in our ongoing cooperation in promoting educational opportunities, preserving cultural heritage, and developing dialogue between nations and civilizations. I am confident that this partnership will deepen and expand its scope, opening new avenues for joint initiatives that serve our member states and contribute to a more peaceful and harmonious world.
Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration, and I once again wish lasting peace, prosperity, and well-being to the friendly people of Azerbaijan.
