198 fraud suspects arrested in Turkey

A total of 198 people suspected of embezzling 464 million liras from citizens have been arrested following operations across 21 Turkish provinces.

A total of 327 suspects were detained. Investigations revealed a transaction volume of 27 billion 509 million liras in their bank accounts.

It was established that the suspects committed fraud using fake advertisements, investment promises, and by posing as state officials and bank employees.
