Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has visited the Ukrainian city of Irpin as part of his official visit to Ukraine.

Operativ Media reports, citing AZERTAC, that Minister Bayramov first laid flowers at the monument to Honored Scientist, prominent ophthalmologist, and Academician Zarifa Aliyeva, paying tribute to her memory.

Bayramov then visited the Irpin City Central Polyclinic, which was restored with the help and support of the Azerbaijani government.

The minister was informed that the restoration of the city polyclinic—severely damaged during active military operations in Irpin—was quickly completed with Azerbaijani state assistance and handed over to Ukrainian authorities. The medical facility was renovated with support from the Azerbaijani government and financial backing from SOCAR Ukraine, a leading Azerbaijani brand in Ukraine's energy sector. The polyclinic's facade and roof were renewed, all windows replaced, and modern fire protection and ventilation systems installed. A brand-new shelter was also constructed in the facility's basement.

Bayramov subsequently visited Irpin Humanitarian Lyceum "Linguist" No. 12 named after Academician Zarifa Aliyeva, which was also restored through the aid and support of the Azerbaijani government. While touring the museum named after Zarifa Aliyeva, it was noted that the school underwent major capital repairs in a short timeframe on the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev.

Additionally, the school was equipped with a generator to address power supply interruptions.

Bayramov was later briefed on future reconstruction projects planned by the Azerbaijani government. It was highlighted that Azerbaijan plans to implement four more large-scale reconstruction projects in Irpin.
