An agreement between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan on the mutual allocation of annual educational quotas has been approved.

Operativ Media reports that President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree to this effect.

Under the decree, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Science and Education is responsible for ensuring the implementation of the agreement's provisions once it officially enters into force.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also been instructed to notify the Tajik government that the domestic legal procedures necessary for the agreement to take effect have been completed.
