Bayern Munich signs new contract with Kane

Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has become the highest-paid footballer in Europe after signing a new contract.

Operativ Media reports, citing The Athletic, that the Munich club announced on November 5 that it has signed a new deal with the 33-year-old English forward, valid until June 30, 2029.

According to the source, the new agreement makes Kane Europe's top earner in terms of base salary. However, it is suggested that certain players may still earn higher total incomes through performance bonuses. The financial details of the contract have not been disclosed.

Kane has been playing for Bayern since 2023, winning two German championship titles with the team. The striker also won the Ballon d'Or award in 2026.

The Transfermarkt portal estimates the player's market value at 60 million euros.
