An Organizing Committee has been established for the Azerbaijan International Investment Forum.

President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree to this effect, Operativ Media reports.

Under the decree, Deputy Prime Minister Samir Sharifov has been appointed Chairman of the Organizing Committee, with the Minister of Economy serving as Deputy Chairman.

Chairman of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Head of the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Head of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Head of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan

The Organizing Committee will oversee the preparation for the second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, scheduled for September 25–26 this year. The committee is tasked with annually drafting and coordinating an Action Plan for the event and resolving all necessary organizational matters.

The Ministry of Economy will serve as the committee's Secretariat.

The Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to handle all logistics and tasks arising from the order.
