Lille and Morocco national team midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi has agreed personal terms with English club Manchester City.

​According to the source, the 18-year-old player intends to join the "Cityzens" this summer. Although a option for the midfielder to move to the Manchester club in 2027 was previously considered, the transfer will go through as soon as the parties reach full agreement on all details.

​Bouaddi made 42 appearances across all competitions for Lille during the 2025/2026 season, providing one assist. The young player also featured in 5 matches for Morocco at the 2026 World Cup. The Transfermarkt portal estimates his market value at 80 million euros.
