Former Chelsea striker Gianfranco Zola has been appointed as youth coordinator for the Italian national team.

Operativ Media reports that the 60-year-old specialist will support the development and operations of the "Squadra Azzurra" across various youth age groups.

In addition, Zola will remain in his post as vice president of Italy's third division, a position he has held since February 2023.
