White House press secretary resigns
“Karoline Leavitt, the wonderful White House Press Secretary and one of my most trusted aides, will be leaving her position at the end of the month. She made this decision to spend more time with her beautiful young children and family. I completely understand and respect this decision!”
Operativ Media reports that U.S. President Donald Trump wrote this on his Truth Social account.
It was noted that Leavitt will henceforth serve as one of his key foreign affairs advisers:
“Karoline was a true leader in the White House and did a fantastic job fighting for fairness, freedom, and rights starting in 2018, including during our historic 2024 re-election campaign. Karoline was one of the finest Press Secretaries in White House history. Thank you, Karoline. Great job!” Trump added.
