Sabah FC players are eagerly looking forward to their upcoming match.

Operativ Media reports that Sabah's Serbian footballer Veljko Simic said this following the match against Israeli side Hapoel in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.

Simic stated that although the first match was not one of the team's best performances, all focus is now directed toward the return leg:

"It may not have been one of our best games, but everything depends on the second match. The outcome is still undecided. There are certain aspects of our game that we need to improve and develop."

He noted that the team's success is far more important than his individual goals.

"Of course, scoring at this stage of the Champions League is a fantastic feeling. But for me, the team's result is more important. We want to perform better. If we achieve a very good result in Baku and advance to the Champions League main stage, that will be a greater reward for me than any goals I score."

Simic also addressed the supporters ahead of the return match.

"We are looking forward to the upcoming match with great anticipation. I urge all our fans to come and fill the stadium. We can experience another miraculous night."
