Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has visited Syria.

Operativ Media reports that during the visit, he is expected to meet with Syrian Foreign Minister Asad al-Shaibani and be received by President Ahmed al-Sharaa.

The talks will focus primarily on the dissolution of the People's Protection Units (YPG) and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), as well as their integration into Syrian state structures.

The parties will also discuss the situation in southern Syria, Israeli attacks, and the preservation of the country's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
