US leader Donald Trump has said in an interview with Fox News that he is likely ready to meet with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during the high-level week of the UN General Assembly.

Operativ Media reports that journalist Trey Yingst said on Fox News:

"I asked the president about the General Assembly. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will also be there. I asked him if he would be open to meeting with the Iranian leader. He replied that he would likely be open to such a meeting."
