Turkish club Trabzonspor has made contact with Al-Hilal forward Karim Benzema to inquire about transfer terms.

​Operativ Media reports that this was revealed in a post by Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu.

​According to the report, the Black Sea side is considering the 38-year-old French forward as an alternative to Darwin Nunez, whose transfer failed to materialize during this window. The experienced player is under contract with the Saudi Arabian club until 2027. The Transfermarkt portal estimates his market value at €5 million.

​Benzema has scored one goal in two competitive appearances this season.
