According to Operativ Media, this was stated in a special declaration by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran.

"The US sanctions policy against Iran constitutes economic terrorism and a crime against humanity," the statement noted.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry stated that the US administration, along with those who design and implement sanctions plans, must be held accountable.

According to official Tehran, Washington's imposition of new restrictions against Iran is a continuation of a failed US policy, and repeating it will only lead to "new failure."

The ministry added that these actions by the US administration reflect America's inability to achieve its goals in its war against Iran and demonstrate Washington's lawlessness and arrogance.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry emphasized that no sanctions or restrictions imposed by the US can shake the nation's resolve to defend its independence and sovereignty.
