Diplomatic corps begins another visit to Karabakh and East Zangezur
A two-day visit of representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan to Karabakh and East Zangezur began on September 11, accompanied by Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration.
Operativ Media reports that a delegation of 150 people representing 58 countries and nine international organizations is participating in the visit.
During the visit, the diplomats will familiarize themselves with social and economic infrastructure projects implemented as part of the large-scale reconstruction and development process led by President Ilham Aliyev in the cities of Khankendi and Shusha, as well as Aghdara and Kalbajar districts. They will also view the current state of historical and cultural heritage sites and the measures being taken for their protection and restoration.
This marks the 22nd visit of diplomatic corps representatives to the liberated territories since 2020.
