The provisions of the draft agreement on the elimination of double taxation between Azerbaijan and Cambodia have been agreed upon.

Operativ Media reports that the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy has released information on this.

The second round of negotiations on the draft Agreement between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Cambodia for the Elimination of Double Taxation with Respect to Taxes on Income and the Prevention of Tax Evasion has been held.

During the discussions, it was noted that agreeing on the draft agreement will contribute to creating more favorable conditions for investors from both countries, as well as strengthening bilateral cooperation in the tax field.

It was noted that the agreement is also of great importance in terms of strengthening cooperation in the areas of information exchange and assistance in tax debt collection.

As a result of the discussions, agreement was reached on all tax-related provisions of the draft agreement. Additionally, it was stated that the parties will work together to reach an agreement on other provisions of the draft that are not directly related to taxation.

The results of the negotiations were formalized with an "Agreed Protocol" document signed between the parties.
