Representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan, accompanied by Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, have visited the thoroughly renovated Culture Center in the city of Khankendi.

Operativ Media reports that Elchin Yusubov, the Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the city of Khankendi and the Khojaly and Aghdara districts, briefed the diplomatic corps representatives on the Culture Center.

It was noted that the building of the Culture Center in Khankendi was constructed in the 1960s-1970s. Due to long-term use, the building's load-bearing structures had suffered from wear, deformation, and various damages.

Following the extensive reconstruction work, the Culture Center now features all necessary facilities for hosting various cultural events, film screenings, stage performances, creative activities, training, workshops, administrative management, and tourism-oriented services.
