The Fourth Climate Week, held under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), has concluded in Baku.

Operativ Media reports that the event, which ran from September 7 to 11, featured roundtables, panel discussions, and conferences on pressing topics such as energy transition, climate finance, industrial decarbonization, sustainable development, and climate change mitigation.

Delegates from various countries, representatives of international organizations, experts, and members of the private sector exchanged views on key aspects of the climate agenda, current challenges, and potential solutions.

Discussions held over the five-day event also focused on maintaining continuity and institutional communication between COP29, COP30, and COP31, accelerating the implementation of decisions made at previous climate conferences, expanding regional cooperation, and increasing access to climate finance for developing nations.

At the same time, particular attention was paid to strengthening cooperation between countries in the upcoming COP process and translating climate commitments into practical results.
