Iran and Oman have reached a final agreement on a shipping route in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the source, this will soon be announced with the participation of the foreign ministers of the Persian Gulf countries.

The agency's source noted that this agreement was concluded solely between Iran and Oman, and other countries will attend the meeting only to familiarize themselves with the details of the route and navigation rules.

He added that under this agreement, entry into the Persian Gulf through the strait is entirely within Iran's territorial waters, while part of the exit route also covers the territorial waters of the Islamic Republic.
