The leadership of the Ministry of Defense has inspected activities carried out at the forward operating base of the Military Police Department's Operational Capabilities Concept (OCC) company.

The Ministry of Defense reported on the visit, according to Operativ Media .

Major General Elgun Aliyev, Deputy Head of the Main Department of Internal Security and Investigation of the Ministry of Defense and Head of the Military Police Department, briefed Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov on the military police's activities, the forward operating base, and the organization of troop service.

It was noted that the activities carried out at the OCC base have been aligned with relevant NATO standards and are aimed at ensuring interoperability in peacekeeping operations.

The leadership toured the facilities, inspecting the barracks, sports and shooting ranges, training centers for engineering, reconnaissance, and driving instruction, as well as military equipment.

The ministry leadership then observed combat training preparations for the Level 1 Self-Evaluation Exercise, scheduled for October this year under NATO's OCC Evaluation and Feedback Program.

Defense Minister Colonel General Z. Hasanov gave relevant instructions to officials to further improve the combat readiness, logistical support, and social and living conditions of the servicemen.

Finally, a group of servicemen who distinguished themselves in service were awarded, and commemorative trees were planted on the unit's territory.
