Manchester City forward Erling Haaland has achieved a new milestone in the English Premier League by scoring against Sunderland in a matchday 5 fixture, meaning he has now scored against every opponent he has faced in the competition.

Operativ Media reports that the Norwegian striker found the back of the net in the 81st minute following an assist from Josko Gvardiol, sealing a 5-3 victory for Manchester City.

This marks the first time the 26-year-old forward has scored against Sunderland in his career. He had previously failed to score in his two appearances against them.

With this goal, Haaland has now scored against all 25 Premier League teams he has faced. He has been most prolific against West Ham, scoring 11 goals.

Meanwhile, Haaland is yet to play against Premier League debutant Hull, with the match between the two sides scheduled for December 19.

The only other player to have played at least two matches against every Premier League opponent they faced and scored against them all is Harry Kane. The former England striker scored against all 32 opponents he faced in the league.
