The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has extended the contract of national team head coach Luis de la Fuente until 2032.

Operativ Media reports that the 65-year-old specialist's previous contract was set to expire in the summer of 2028. The new agreement has been extended by an additional four years.

The contract extension was unanimously approved by the RFEF Board of Directors, chaired by Rafael Louzán.

Rafael Louzán stated that the federation aims to implement a project built on stability and trust. According to him, the proposal is based on confidence in Luis de la Fuente and the sporting project he leads.

Louzán noted that de la Fuente is the most decorated head coach in the history of the Spanish national team, and after 14 years of cooperation with the federation, he sees a long-term future ahead for him.
