Colombian club Atletico Nacional has announced the signing of James Rodriguez.

Operativ Media reports that the 35-year-old midfielder's last club was Minnesota in the US MLS, which he left in the summer.

James has played eight matches and made two assists for Minnesota since February 2026.

The Colombian footballer previously played for Mexico's Leon, Rayo Vallecano, Sao Paulo, Olympiacos, Qatar's Al-Rayyan, Everton, Real Madrid, Bayern, Monaco, Porto, Banfield, and Envigado.

James Rodriguez has scored 31 goals in 131 matches for the Colombian national team.
